Media and Sponsorship Information
This will be the first ever Freediving Competition in the Philippines where divers from the Philippines and also from all over the world try to dive as long as possible and as deep as possible without the use of any breathing equipment - just by holding their breath.
Historical roots of freediving are also found in the Philippines with the Bajau People like seen in this video. There will be at least one Bajau diver participating in the conmpetition to make this event even more spectacular for the covering media.
The waters of Moalboal are a perfect place for this even not only because of the deep and protected waters close to shore, but also for the good visibility that will allow spectacular media coverage also under water.
Sponsors can expect a wide coverage in national and international online, print, radio and television appearances of this event.
