About Camiguin
In the last 6 years i traveled a lot in the Philippines. My "secret" favorite place now is "King Kong Island" - Camiguin Island which is about a 1/2 day travel away from Cebu City. Remote Waterfalls, deep rainforest, interesting Wildlife, 5 Volcanoes, Hot Springs, Cold Springs and a big diversity of divesites are the factors that make this only 20km wide island so special.

That's why every May Freediving Courses are offered on Camiguin Island.

Freediving Courses
- Freediving Courses in Camiguin are special ... the static breath hold training will be in a hot spring! No wetsuit needed -> helps to relax and achieve a great static time!

It is also possible to only join the theory and breathhold training without doing deep dive training - Php 5,400.- .
Fishing Course
Learn to catch your food for your own. Spearfishing is a highly selective fishing method without any bycatch. Done responsibly it is a way of catching your dinner in one of the most environmental friendly of all fishing methods. Learn in an intense 3 day course how to do it in a safe and successful way. Accommodation
- Camiguin Action Geckos Dive & Adventure Resort is our "Headquarter" and offers nice traditional accommodation, but one can also find many other places to stay.
- Price: Beach Cottage for 4 persons P 2200 per night/per room, Traveller Room for 3 persons P 750 per night/per room, Beachfront Bungalow P 1800 per 2 persons per night/per room

Transportation
- www.midseaexpress.com has Wednesday, Friday and Sunday flights from Cebu to Camiguin
- Price: Night ferry from Cebu - Php 880 one way - ONLY once a week! - going Friday night - back Sunday night
- Instead of going with the friday night ferry from Cebu (Php 880.-) one can also go by plane to Cagayan de Oro (daily flights) and then take a ferry to Camiguin.
